Most of our touring in Cambodia was centered around the stunning temple ruins. Constructed by the Angkor Civilization(802-1295), these temple-cities were virtually unknown to the west until a French naturalist "found" them in 1861.
After taking id-photos and receiving our 3-day temple pass, we began our exploration at the crumbling relics of famous Angkor Wat.

Our six month stint in Hong Kong, courtesy of Moe's job, has been an amazing and rewarding experience for both of us. Prominent on our list of experiences are the opportunities we have to travel to other countries in the region; some of which, frankly, I had previously given little or no thought.
Our latest visit was to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Siem Reap is home to awesome and ancient temples. It is also home to a very kind, resilient people who harbor way too many tragedies in their collective memories. And in three short days the people, its scenery and history made a deep impression in our minds and hearts--like no other trip we have taken together has so far.
